When our daughter was small, she came up to me one day and said, "You know why we are not supposed to eat lobster Mommy? Before I could reply she said, "Cuz they feed off their bottoms!" She had obviously been thinking about what we were teaching her about the foods listed in the Bible that were not to be eaten and in her child's way of understanding, that was the picture that formed in her mind! It made us laugh to be sure, but it also gave us a pretty smart way to think about the whole idea!
